About Julian

Julian Wass writes and performs original music for films, television and commercials. His recent compositions for  HBO's Animals, Duplass Brothers' Do-Deca-Pentathalon, Jenée LaMarque's The Pretty One, and Dax Shepard's Brother's Justice and the follow-up Hit and Run. As member and producer of Los Angeles based band Fol Chen, he explores the soundscape of electronic-pop on Fol Chen's latest album, The False Alarms, and his own EP, Crystals.  Recent productions also include records by singer/songwriter Simone White and Bay Area rap group, Main Attrakionz. Julian’s upcoming film projects include The Big Ask, Lost for Life, and Helen Hunt’s Ride.  A proud native Angelino, Julian currently resides in Los Angeles with his wife, director/writer Jenée LaMarque, and their two daughters.
